Claymills Victorian Pumping Station - C engine
Claymills Victorian Pumping Station - C engine
This is the crank end sewage pump that is being gradually cleaned and painted. It is a positive displacement plunger pump with multiple non-return flap valves on inlet and delivery sides. There is a spring loaded relief valve tucked into the bend of the discharge pipe and an air vessel with a sight-glass on the right hand edge of the picture.
