Summit cairn, Knott (465m)
Summit cairn, Knott (465m)
Knott is in the north eastern corner of the Howgills and has uninterrupted views in that direction, over the upper Eden Valley towards Nine Standards and Mallerstang Edge. Someone must have made a tremendous effort to collect enough stones together in this completely grassy area for even a tiny cairn.
