Blists Hill Victorian Town - traction engine
This magnificent beast is J & H McLaren Ltd 5 horsepower compound traction engine No. 1642 built in 1918. It is apparently based in the Congleton area. I have heard it said the gear ratios have been changed so that it is unusually quick on the road (all things are relative).
