Blists Hill Victorian Town - replica Trevithick locomotive
Blists Hill Victorian Town - replica Trevithick locomotive
A working replica of Trevithick's 1802 Coalbrookdale locomotive.
A derelict brickworks is seen beyond and the canal is in the foreground. The truck the driver is stood on is a modern convenience as it thought the driver probably walked along with his engine but that is considered too dangerous for the 21st century. The truck also includes a steam boiler feed pump. This is definitely the engine's best side.
