Viewpoint on Deadwater Fell
Viewpoint on Deadwater Fell
At 571 metres above sea level, Deadwater Fell is one of the highest summits in the area, and on a good day, the views are spectacular. This view is taken to the west-north-west over the head of North Tynedale and on into Scotland. Allegedly, it is possible to see five counties and on a really good day, both the Solway Firth and the North Sea - though that would indeed be exceptional.
