The Three Brethren
The Three Brethren
Well built cairns whose origins apparently date back to the 16th century, when they were constructed to mark the junction of three large estates: Buccleuch Estate, Yair Estate and Selkirk Burgh. The fourth member in this group, the white trig pillar, probably only dates from the 1930s.
