Taken from the ramparts of the Iron Age fort at sunset and looking down towards the Goring Gap, a set of open fields both north and south of the railway, that separate Ferring in the west from Goring to the east. How long the gap will remain is unknown as the fields are owned by Persimmon Homes and their subsidiaries. The square specks just visible out at sea are the construction vessels for the offshore Rampion Wind Farm.
