Overgrazed field with horses and ragwort, Whatlington
Overgrazed field with horses and ragwort, Whatlington
This field, full of ragwort, shows that horses are not inclined to eat it although, in this instance, there was scarcely any grazeable grass left. Ragwort is poisonous but does most harm if it gets into hay. The horses here were rescued.
