Cheveley: former Rectory
Cheveley: former Rectory
Grade II listed, this is now Glebe House and the Cheveley incumbent has a more modest house nearby. "Nice early C18 house of five bays and two storeys, with three-bay pediment. The iron gates surprisingly sumptuous. They were brought from Horseheath, when that house was pulled down - cf St John's and Trinity Colleges, Cambridge" (Nikolaus Pevsner).
