Avenue like footpath
Avenue like footpath

LinkExternal link This medieval manor house could well have had imposing access(es). A local blog attributes Levers Causeway to Lord Leverhulme. LinkExternal link
Both theories could, of course, be correct if Lord Leverhulme had followed the line of an ancient avenue.
