Derelict Aqueduct
Derelict Aqueduct
This bridge used to be an aqueduct to carry the Chard canal over the River Tone and to a junction with the Bridgwater to Taunton canal a little further north. Despite the Chard canal having closed in 1868 this structure still stands.
