SK5739 : Down Garners Hill

taken 10 months ago, near to Nottingham, Great Britain

Down Garners Hill
Down Garners Hill
The narrow Garners Hill once passed under the Great Central Railway. The railway has long since gone, though the NET tramway uses part of its alignment, albeit on a new concrete viaduct (ahead). Nottingham Contemporary art gallery (on the right) was built on the site of Weekday Cross Junction.
