Middle Hill: road and tramway
Middle Hill: road and tramway
Middle Hill was once a narrow street running from Broad Marsh up to Weekday Cross (ahead). When Broad Marsh was redeveloped the viaduct on the left was built and Middle Hill became a bus route. The viaduct on the right carries the Nottingham tramway between the railway station and Weekday Cross, on the alignment of the old Great Central Railway to London Marylebone, which crossed Broad Marsh on blue brick arches, some of which survive north of Station Street.
