ST5775 : Old boundary stones on the Downs

taken 1 year ago, near to Redland, Bristol, Great Britain

Old boundary stones on the Downs
Old boundary stones on the Downs
These stones mark a junction of three boundaries. The City, Parliamentary and Bristol Municipal line runs north from here, with a Ward boundary running to the east. Incidentally, they are close to the old Via Julia Roman road - of which little is visible now. See ST5775 : Downs boundaries for a wider view.
