Fields by Fishley church
Fields by Fishley church
The field was the site of the village of Fishley, which is mentioned in the Domesday book where it is described as a large and thriving community, rivalling its neighbours of Acle and Upton. No traces of the village remain but it is believed that it was located here this field adjoining St Mary's > Link church in the northwest. The church seen in the distance is St Margaret's > Link in Upton.
