Crumlin Navigation Colliery
The shafts were sunk in 1907. The heapstead buildings in red brick with yellow brick pilasters were erected in 1911 to a high standard as a show pit. They are considered to be the best remaining colliery buildings in Wales. The site has 15 listed structures. The colliery closed in 1967. A local group is campaigning for them to be restored for commercial and community use.
