So called because this section of land along with a strip to the north stretching as far as TQ0607 : Angmering Park House was once an outlier of the parish of Rustington. To the west is TQ0606 : Butlers Piece and to the east is TQ0706 : Selden Corner Field. The wood to the south is Hammerpot Copse.
