Hardcastle Crags is a wooded Pennine valley north of Hebden Bridge.
Viewed here looking across the mill pond, Gibson Mill is situated beside Hebden Beck and dates from the first half of the 19th century. The former cotton mill was one of the first water powered mills at the start of the Industrial Revolution. It is a Grade II listed building. LinkExternal link
