SD7796 : Grassy bank at side of Cote Gill

taken 14 years ago, 4 km from Grisedale, Cumbria, Great Britain

Grassy bank at side of Cote Gill.
Grassy bank at side of Cote Gill.
The valley is presumably that of Cote Gill - it's formed by the joining of Near Cote Gill and Far Cote Gill and is seen from Cotegill Bridge.
The hills in the distance are part of the west side of Mallerstang.
An embankment carrying the Settle to Carlisle railway route is also in view.
