The Stray, Castle Howard
The Stray, Castle Howard
The long straight approach to Castle Howard from the south. The long steep hills seem to attract the type of cyclists who derive some sort of pleasure from such punishing ascents. Carmire Gate is the nearer of the two gatehouses.
