Carrying a bridleway over the Market Harborough Arm of the Grand Union Canal. This canal opened on 13th October 1809. Originally known as the Union Canal, it was designed to link Leicester to Northampton, via Market Harborough. But the Foxton - Norton link was built instead, and the Market Harborough section became a dead-end.
