Doll at Page's Park Station
This narrow gauge steam locomotive was about to haul its first passenger train following a period of overhaul It discharged its duties admirably. Doll is an 0-6-0T by Andre Barclay of Kilmarnock to works No. 1641 of 1919. Built for Alfred Hickman Ltd of Sydenham Ironstone Pit, Kings Sutton, Oxfordshire and latterly used at Springvale Furnaces, Bilston. It went to Bressingham Museum but was slightly wider than the gauge and spread the tracks causing derailments.
