SD9696 : Lane below Crackpot Side

taken 10 months ago, near to Crackpot, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Lane below Crackpot Side
Lane below Crackpot Side
Section of the narrow lane between Summer Lodge Farm and Crackpot.
The way goes beyond Summer Lodge Farm, steeply climbing up onto Lodge Moor to meet the Askrigg/Reeth Road. It is not metalled, and signs indicate unsuitability for motor vehicles - although apparently some sat nav devices advise to the contrary.
