SD4187 : The cairn on Raven's Barrow (Cartmel Fell)

taken 8 years ago, near to Cartmel Fell, Cumbria, England

The cairn on Raven's Barrow (Cartmel Fell)
The cairn on Raven's Barrow (Cartmel Fell)
Described on the map (Outdoor Leisure 7) as a monument, but there appears to be no extant evidence as to whom the monument was erected.
Cartmel Fell, 162m, is one of the 116 Wainwright Outlying Fells, but it is not a "summit" and the ground rises gently to the north-west, culminating in Gummer's How (321m).
