TR0779 : Red Sand Fort: October sunlight

taken 8 months ago, 10 km from Warden, Kent, Great Britain

Red Sand Fort: October sunlight
Red Sand Fort: October sunlight
Conditions were much brighter than on my previous visit (in 2011), when light was diffuse and photography perhaps less tricky. The photo was taken at about 2.50pm, with raking light from a low sun.

I like the sense of space and distance in this shot - with the ridge of the North Downs on a distant skyline.
