The mural on the wall in Old Square depicts scenes from Birmingham's history. What is today LloydsTSB bank was formed in 1765, in Dale End, Birmingham, by button maker John Taylor and iron producer and dealer Sampson Lloyd II as Taylor's and Lloyds. However, a source of local scandal was Samuel Lloyd's daughter elopement, as depicted here by the young lass being helped down the ladder.
