NZ2513 : Weir at Broken Scar

taken 4 years ago, near to Low Coniscliffe, Darlington, Great Britain

Weir at Broken Scar
Weir at Broken Scar
Plenty of water tumbling over the weir at Broken Scar. I'm guessing that the purpose of the weir is to maintain a level of water upstream for abstraction to the water treatment works on the other side of Coniscliffe Road.
