This photo shows a train with railway engine 13065 on the platform at Rawtenstall Station, Bury Road BB4 6AG waiting to leave for Bury in Greater Manchester. This railway line was originally closed on the 5th June 1972, but reopened as the East Lancashire Railway between Bury and Ramsbottom on 25th July 1987. It was then extended to Rawtenstall on 27th April 1991. The preserved engine 13065 is a 2-6-0 class 5 Hughes Crab dating from 1927 and used to run on the London, Midland and Scottish Railway.
