A Grade II listed building LinkExternal link It was built in 1909 as the headquarters for the Palatine Bank. It had three entrances - one in the middle, one on the corner of Sussex Street and one on the other corner at 22 Brown Street. In 1919 it became the Bank of Liverpool and Martins then in 1928 Martins Bank Ltd and in 1969 Barclays. It closed on 29th October 1971.
