The 2017 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run took place on 5 November 2017. Because of long term roadworks on the A23 in Brixton it took a different route from usual, and instead of passing through Croydon, Merstham and Redhill on the A23, it instead passed through south London on the A24, A297 and A217, before descending Reigate Hill and then using the A25 between Reigate and Redhill where it rejoined its usual route. A last minute change was necessitated by emergency sewer works in Reigate, with the route being diverted off Reigate Hill along Raglan Road and Croydon Road, before rejoining the planned route across to Redhill.

This was the first time the run had passed through Reigate since 1954.

This series of photos shows participants in the run at various points along Reigate Road, between its junction with Croydon Road and the point at which it entered Redhill at Shaws Corner.
