The Old Ginger statue at the Haining, Selkirk
This bronze sculpture of Old Ginger by Alexander Stoddart is located at the Haining Kennels. Old Ginger, the father of the Dandie Dinmont Breed, was born at the Haining on 4th June 1842 and the ancestry of every Dandy Dinmont can be traced back to Old Ginger. The sculpture was unveiled on 4th June 2017. The Dandie Dinmont Discovery Centre in the background was made possible by the generous support of the Kennel Club.
