Fallen elm, St Nicholas Park, Warwick
Fallen elm, St Nicholas Park, Warwick
It fell over in a gale, as did some trees by the river: SP2964 : Fallen and trimmed weeping willow, St Nicholas Park, Warwick. It was a small-leaved elm, Ulmus pumila, if I remember rightly, probably planted as an experiment to see if it would show resistance to Dutch Elm Disease.
