taken 1 year ago, near to Saltmarshe, East Riding of Yorkshire, Great Britain

River Ouse navigation marker
At Hall Staith, Saltmarshe Hall. This small promontory was constructed close to Saltmarshe Hall - partly to aid embarkation upon and disembarkation from river craft. Tons of rocks were also dropped in the river close to this point to mitigate the impact of very high tides upon the Saltmarshe Hall estate.
