The Cenotaph and One Small Cross
The Cenotaph and One Small Cross
On 30th November 2017 the poppy wreaths from remembrance Sunday had been cleared away.
The TQ3079 : One Small Cross was to remember just one of the millions who died in WW1 . Corporal Saddler Edward Thomas Holden, of the 20th Hussars missing presumed dead 100 years ago to the day, he has no known grave. Cavalry against machine guns and artillery what can one say?
