East Meon: bus stop and church
East Meon: bus stop and church
A wide angle lens captures the bus stop, and retro-style lamp post on which it is mounted, together with All Saints' Church. There are two bus services that stop here: Stagecoach's 67 between Winchester and Petersfield, and the X17 operated by Xelabus (based in Eastleigh) which runs on Wednesdays only between Petersfield and Bishops Waltham. The church is 12th century in origin although additions were made in the 13th century, including- probably - the spire. The size of the building reflects the importance of East Meon at that time. It is grade I listed.
