The arena opened in 1991 and at the date of this photo it was called the FlyDSA Arena. It has subsequently changed sponsorship and is now called the Sheffield Utilita Arena. It had previously been known as the Hallam FM Arena and the Motorpoint Arena.
As well as being a major concert venue the building is also the home of the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey Club.
