Bearland Lodge on Longsmith Street in Gloucester was built around 1720 for Barrister William Lane. The house includes an impressive cross gable pediment above the two central bays. The tympanum of the pediment contains a sculpture of Perseus by John Rickett. Today this former town house is offices; it is Grade II* listed. LinkExternal link
