Metal plate attached to stone post by the A595, in parish of DISTINGTON (COPELAND District), Common End, near first house and signs to Workington Crematorium; North of Boot Bridge, on grass verge, on West side of road. Whitehaven plate stone, erected by the Whitehaven turnpike trust in the 19th century.
