Carved stone post by the B6277, in parish of FOREST AND FRITH (TEESDALE District), Rough Rigg, 12m S of Trough Sike, between 'SLOW' on road and wooden gate (Ashgill), on the verge near wall, on East side of road. Alston stone, erected by the Alston turnpike trust in the 19th century.
