Carved stone post by the A688, in parish of STAINDROP (TEESDALE District), The Green, by No 34, 100m East of Wheatsheaf Inn PH, near lamppost 164, on South side of road. Bowes stone, erected by the Bowes & Sunderland Bridge turnpike trust in the 19th century.
