The A525 is a 73-mile (117 km) cross-border route connecting Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire, England, to Rhyl on the North Wales coast.

It is Mostly single carriageway, with short dual carriageway sections near Rhyl and is non-primary in some sections, especially between Wrexham and Whitchurch. It is noted for being a scenic route in North Wales, passing through rural landscapes and market towns including:
• Wrexham – The largest town in North Wales
• Ruthin – Historic town in Denbighshire
• Denbigh – Market town with medieval heritage
• St Asaph – Small city near the A55 expressway
• Rhuddlan – Close to the coast, near Rhyl

The route serves mostly local traffic and tourism, being less direct than faster alternatives like the A55 or M6 for long-distance travel.
