Lightwaves 2017 - Duet
The DUET app allows its users to build a unique relationship with someone on the other side of the world. For this project, DUET anonymously connected participants from India and the UK, inviting them to exchange details of their lives by answering one question a day. Data from the digital connections made between India and the residents of Greater Manchester is presented as this public artwork; capturing fleeting glimpses of the evolving personal relationships and the differences and the similarities of the thousands of conversations that have been taking place. Prior to its arrival at Lightwaves, different guises of DUET's public artwork will have toured in Mumbai, London and Lincoln (Link

Quays Culture - Lightwaves
Lightwaves claims to be the UK’s largest free outdoor digital art light show. The annual festival, hosted by Quays Culture, showcases an eclectic programme of digital light art, taking over public spaces in Salford Quays and MediaCityUK each December. Each year, Lightwaves features new and exclusively commissioned digital art displays alongside tableaux borrowed from the Blackpool Illuminations.
