NZ1649 : Beech wood in the snow

taken 6 years ago, near to Maiden Law, County Durham, England

Beech wood in the snow
Beech wood in the snow
The wood flanks the former drive down to Greencroft Hall, now long gone. The drive is still in use for other surviving buildings on the estate. This is one of the finest Beech woods in the area, with many huge old trees.
