Old stained glass in St Sidwell's Chapel
St Sidwell's church was destroyed in the Exeter blitz of 1942. Before that, some of the stained glass windows had been removed. This pair has been restored and mounted in the present-day chapel. The left hand one shows the martyrdom of St Sidwell (or Sidwella) also seen in the modern window in the chapel SX9293 : Stained Glass window in St Sidwell's chapel and the right hand one shows her with her emblems of Bible and scythe.
