Worcestershire Royal Hospital - fuel oil tanks
Worcestershire Royal Hospital - fuel oil tanks
The Aconbury boiler house had dual fuel capacity but the oil has been rarely used in recent years. It won't be used again as these two tanks have been demolished. At this stage the brick cladding on the concrete bund wall had been removed to expose the concrete. The concrete was then demolished with a hydraulic pecker then a huge Doosan machine with hydraulic pincers tore the tanks apart. Not elegant but effective.
