SP8213 : End of Aylesbury Arm, Grand Union Canal

taken 5 months ago, near to Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, Great Britain

End of Aylesbury Arm, Grand Union Canal
End of Aylesbury Arm, Grand Union Canal
The extreme end is at the left, across the water is a fairly large basin. Nearly all the water part of the canal remains as built, the only missing bit is a small covered dock extending a little further towards Walton Street at the extreme end on the left. No original buildings survive, which seems the fate of a lot of central Aylesbury.
