Dowson Road bridge
Dowson Road bridge
The bridge carries the A627 over what was once the Godley Junction to Apethorn railway which was mainly used for carrying coal from Yorkshire to the power station at Fiddlers Ferry. Now it is used by the Trans Pennine Trail and National Cycle Network Route #62. There is nearly always a huge puddle underneath the bridge.
