Milverton Viaduct, Leamington
Milverton viaduct is part of the Coventry-Leamington line, a branch off the Chiltern main line carrying Cross Country services from Manchester via Coventry and Leamington Spa to Bournemouth. It was built in 1851 to connect the railway line from Coventry, which previously terminated a little to the north at Milverton, with what is now the Chiltern main line. The viaduct crosses the River Leam on a bend to the left before approaching Leamington Spa station. The photo was taken from the riverside path on the north bank.
