SP3065 : River Leam, Leamington

taken 2 years ago, near to Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, Great Britain

River Leam, Leamington
River Leam, Leamington
The River Leam can be seen here some 700m upstream from its confluence with the River Avon. At this point, it has just passed the weir LinkExternal link at Princes Drive to the west of the town. The area is prone to flooding, causing the river to braid around a small islet, which creates the impression of a step in the water level.
