Towards Bolton Hall
Towards Bolton Hall
Looking towards Bolton Hall from alongside the River Wharfe. The hall was originally the gatehouse for Bolton Priory, dating from the 14th Century, and was extended in the mid 19th Century. It is now used by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire when staying on the Bolton Abbey estate. Grade II* listed - see LinkExternal link.

The structure on the right is a former chimney and fireplace, the only visible remains of the former priory guesthouse. Grade II listed - see LinkExternal link.
